I hope you are mistaken on the term choosen.
A Faraday cage can not shield your room from electromagnetics fields.
A Faraday cage block only electric fields (as it can be made of a copper mesh which does not interfere with a magnetic field).

If you want to shield your room from electromagnetic fields (like wifi or gprs, bluetooth...), you must use steel (or any magnetic metal).

Looking at the picture, I think it's what you have done.
But it seems not a Faraday Cage to me.

Spontaneously combust?! With over 2 billion mobile phones worldwide spending most of their time in pockets, purses, and backpacks, I think any battery with a documented risk of spontaneous combustion would result in a swift recall and even more publicity than the Sony/Dell/HP laptop battery recall of 2006.

There are probably around 200-400 phones ensconced in fabric and cloth on every single long-distance commercial airplane flight every day, and even today's ultra-paranoid TSA has not tried to ban them yet...

Do these run with the battery installed? I'd be a bit worried that with 400+ devices, it's only a matter of time until one of the batteries decides to spontaneously combust... And sitting in a frame of fabric and cloth could lead to a bit of an inferno.
