Walking to a neighborhood coffeeshop, I found this immaculate Triumph TR3 parked on a side street near my house.
Really spectacular to see, especially with the neighborhood street-parking sticker! For anyone curious for more details about this Triumph TR3 car click here
Lovely car, it looks about two feet tall! The pinstripes don’t do its face any favors. The Academy of Art (of the dozens of properties and thousands of buses driving art students around) has a sky-blue 1947 Cisitalia convertible that they display occasionally at shows around town. 10 years earlier and even more beautiful, it was one of Battista “Pinin” Farina’s first designs. Google Cisitalia Academy of Art
Nice tip, I didn’t know about that! The best photo I found of that Cisitalia was at http://www.autoweek.com/article/20120531/CARNEWS04/120539967 … and you can bet I’ll keep an eye out for it around town!
Thanks
John.
